About the project
This generational home, originally owned by their parents, was passed on to the youngest son. My job was particularly challenging to capture small details of the old, for example, creating a special keepsake table out of an old piece of driftwood pulled from the beach by his parents. It was a fun framing challenge refreshing the roof structure, demoing the old ski slope roof from the 1970’s and creating a multi layered gable roofline. In the end they were thrilled with the new beach style craftsman home and their driftwood table!
